“#IAmStillAnArtist means to me the ability to continue to produce art through any adversity to take care of a Family of 7 being a full time artist for 15+ years and working through the pandemic has been challenging at times I’ve diversified my abilities to maximize my ability to gain revenue for my skills. In the pandemic I illustrated a Children’s book for Canadian icon Maestro Fresh Wes and was also a recipient of a Hamilton Arts Award in the Creators category. I’ve had to push through bouts of doubt and continue to learn was of existing in the digital realm with updating my use of technology.

Eklipz is a seasoned multi-medium artist based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Often referred to as a modern day Renaissance artist, his work has already established an impactful presence throughout the community. His initial offerings were spawned by Hip Hop’s graffiti culture, his unquenchable thirst for growth in all areas of life pushed him to develop a diverse style and convey his message through a multitude of mediums and materials. He seamlessly blends contemporary urban themes with classical elements, often paying homage to eras and periods that have fallen through the cracks of time.
